Platform Resourcing are currently working alongside a Global IT Services Company based in
Swansea. They are looking to employ a Sales Support Executive who will provide support to
the business development team.
This candidate should have a strong interest in I.T or hold a relevant qualification within an
I.T related subject or within Business Administration. You will also have a flair for sales and
customer service with strong Administrative skills. The long-term aim for the role is to
develop into a Business Development Executive position.

Sales Support Executive Role and Responsibilities:
To act as the administrative support to the sales team to ensure they are able to deliver
specific KPI’s & targets within the chosen region.
Working as part of a close-knit team, you will help raise the company profile by
underpinning market-facing activity whilst supporting internal business development
activities.
Processing orders, uploading new client data accurately onto the CRM system.
Preparing for events, meetings, and campaigns.
Qualify leads for the Sales Team to call.
Be accountable for all invoices/payments prior to events.
Update and maintain Salesforce/CRM with any conversations or developments.
Arranging and booking on-site visits for sales staff.
Maintain and build upon relationships with the local marketplace, researching
networking events in the area suitable for BDM’s to attend.
Assist with general administration and ad hoc tasks supporting the sales team.
Assist with the events cycle including targeting customers through social media to
attend events and follow up one to one post events.
Attend meetings with internal development groups as and when required.
Sales Support Essential Experience:
Have a passion for I.T. or a knowledge of I.T. Services or Tech products
Holding a relevant I.T, computing or Business Admin qualification, Graduates will also be
considered for this position.
Outgoing and confident to liaise with customers and internal team members.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
Able to process Sales orders and experience of updating databases accurately and
efficiently.
Use of Social Media including LinkedIn
Some experience in customer service or sales administration is ideal
Organised, disciplined and takes pride in their work
A team player able to work well under pressure
Competent in using all Microsoft Packages
