Platform Resourcing are partnered with a company in Llansamlet, Swansea to appoint a Finance Assistant to join their team. This is a brand new role to the company, where you will work alongside the Finance Manager supporting across EMEA, APAC regions and working with the USA team.
You will assist with the financial transactions for each department, reconciling all payments with invoices receives and ensuring expenditures and payments are made in accordance with agreed budget. Duties of the Finance Executive position
- Managing and processing all supplier invoices, including completion of wire transfer forms for each payment and cost/code allocation
- Act as accounts receivable/credit control
- Verifying PO paperwork requests and maintaining detailed records of these
- Taking ownership of unpaid reporting and processing
- Work with the company to reduce overdue unpaid balances and contacting customers to recover payments alongside the sales team
- Work with the accounts payable team and relevant third parties to execute payments
Skills required to be successful as a Finance Assistant
- Over 2 years’ experience within a similar finance assistant/ finance executive role
- Degree or recognised qualification in Finance is desired but not essential
- Experience of using concur or Dynamix SL is desirable
- Strong Excel skills
- Able to work to deadlines
